K-Ecofarm (CEO Uigi Hong) is an up-and-coming start-up venture company for Smart Farm system development and bio raw material development.

In particular, the company is striving for the development of not only domestic markets but also overseas markets through hydroponic ginseng related vertical value chain integration from processing ginseng seeds to processed product development, based on hydroponic ginseng cultivation technology. Although the company is still newly born, and the small firm passed only two years from its establishment, the company has secured many intellectual properties related to hydroponic ginseng cultivation and raw material development through endless research, development, and efforts on the one hand, and on the other it has concluded business collaboration with foreign government agencies and research centers, which is utilized as a bridgehead for export. About 1 billion won of sales are expected for this year.

The company won the grand prize of 2018 first half Korean superior patent and received a final evaluation of excellence for the 2018 IPET Agricultural Industrial Technology Development Project. Now, the company is preparing to enter overseas markets including Vietnam.
